Testimonials

Luke & Bianca Ellis

Hi Grant & Jodie,

I just wanted to send you a quick email to thank you very much for sending us a replacement (& a spare!) window frame screw fittings.

I guess this is what separates quality camper trailer manufacturers from the rest! Excellent service.
Thankyou & Best Regards,

Dear Grant, Jodie & the staff at The Complete Campsite,

It is with great pleasure we write to thank you for providing our second excellent camper trailer.

We congratulate you and your company on the progress and improvements made over the three years since we bought our original Nomad, pictured below with our previous car, a Subaru Outback.

Readers will be no doubt wondering why we would change to a similar and more expensive model, as per the new Uluru pictured.

Here’s why:
  • As much of our camping is bush camping or on unpowered sites, a snake-proof toilet, safe for night use and big enough for showering in was required.
  • We wanted on demand gas hot water for hot showers in winter conditions.
  • We wanted an external pump, so showering would not drain the main water tank, but would feed from refillable jerry cans.
  • We wanted to reduce the ball load on the towing vehicle, now recently changed to a diesel powered X-trail (manual) although more appropriate for the task, by moving the trailer’s spare wheel to the tail gate, had the desired effect.
  • We also wanted a better designed and built 12 volt service similar to what we were accustomed to on the yachts we had owned.

All these requirements were ordered, most were standard, and all worked well during our test camp at Kosciuszko National Park, with our friends Brett and Glenda Hume who have a Nomad.

We spent a 4 day Australia Day weekend in the park with our grand children Ashley and Kai, and thanks to the Complete Campsite people, and their attention to detail in the final checkout and factory testing; all went well for all of us.

Along with the 5 major requirements came a long list of improvements to all aspects of the trailer, the outside lockers were better than expected giving more organised storage. We use the lockers on the exposed side for set up gear: pegs, ropes, hammers, wedges, power cord and a secure place for dust caps and hose adaptors. The first large locker as you walk into the tent, now has a shelf, a great suggestion from Grant, to convert it into a pantry.

It’s suggestions like this, and the nothings-too-much-trouble approach to service that we enjoy most with Complete Campsite. With such good and well tested products why would we go anywhere else? In fact we did a lot of study when we decided to upgrade, as we did 3 years previously, the difference this time, we did not consider any other brands, because we knew what we liked and knew any problem would be fixed without a hassle.

Then when we paid our deposit on the Uluru, Complete Campsite went out of their way to help sell our Nomad. As we were about to put an ad on their website, they directed a buyer to us who would accept our terms and arrange pick up after our Christmas and New Year family camp.

Merry Christmas Jodie & Grant,

I've been wondering if you realise just how much you contribute to the making of so many happy memories??

We, as a family, have enjoyed so many fantastic trips in our custom-bulit trailer - from Port Macquarie in winter to the bright lights of the Gold Coast, to Christmas on the Far South Coast - each choc-a-block with wonderful memories we will all cherish forever...especially our kids.

With four of them, the features of our trailer have meant we can truly cater for our large family with ease - cooking, sleeping, playing (even in the rain!). We love every aspect of it, so a very big thank you and congratulations on the latest awards....very well deserved in our opinion!

All the best for 2010,
The Nikolovski Tribe

Jodie & Grant,

I still find it hard to believe the amount of people who came over and wanted to know all about the trailer. We gave each and every one of them the guided tour and they all went away very impressed. I ran out of flyers and cards in the first couple of days, so I just ended up showing them the web site (when available) or given them your number. You don’t know if people ring or not, but at least they have your number.

There was one particular camp, we were set up next to another very well known (very expensive) camp trailer. The owner was very forward in letting us know how much he paid and how much better his trailer was than ours. That was until his wife asked if we minded if she could have a look through our trailer, she only got as far as the kitchen “this kitchen is bigger and better than ours, oh, and look how much room there is inside, how much did you pay?” this was too much for our loud friend who left to get another beer and was not seen again.

We are very happy with our trailer and can’t wait to use it again.

PS; We spent 29 nights camping in our trailer (50/50 caravan parks to bush camp). By our reckoning you owe us a day, we spent at least one hour of every day (caravan park stay) talking about our trailer and how impressive your product is. I ran out of superlatives each and every time I spoke to someone. Well done on building such great camper that people just have to come over and have a closer look. People seriously want to know more about your camper than any other brand.

Anthony & Anne-Marie Gibb

Jodie & Grant,

We saw about ten other Complete Campsite campers between Coober Pedy, Uluru and Alice Springs and at one point in The campsite at Yulara (Uluru) we had two other CC campers within 50 metres of us. We had an extroadinary amount of feedback relating to the camper, all positive, from people waitng to know where to get one (I handed out brochures!) to the NT Police in Uluru calling me over for a chat and wanting to know all about it!

We really stayed in comfort for the four weeks and could have gone on much longer.

Jodie & Grant,

Congratulations on your second (2008/2009) CCIA award.

It is certainly pleasing to own a Complete Campsite CT, particularly given the success of your company in what must be a very competitive and challenging industry.

Well done.

John & Mary Watts

Hi Jodie & Grant,

I meant to write earlier. Thank you both so much for all your help while we had the Nomad and for your assistance in selling it to Helene and Shane Dawson. If there is ever anything we can do to help convince potential buyers in this area of the benefits, etc of The Complete Campsite product, just let us know.

Hopefully we will catch up with you both at one of the shows or somewhere and thank you personally for all the time and effort that you put in with us. We cannot speak highly enough about you.

Good luck for the future and all the best.

Wayne & Margaret Metcalf

Hi Jodie & Grant,

Thanks for your efforts to get our camper finished at short notice, apart from the minor hiccup with the water tank the camper performed brilliantly.

Here is a pic at PT VICTORIA Sth Aust, the wind is blowing at 60 km gusting to 90 km. Note the octopus straps on the poles. The camper held fast, with no damage in a very uncomfortable night, although we did sleep well, the inner spring mattress was worth every cent!

Brett & Glenda Hume

Dear Grant and Jodie,

We have had out Nomad trailer now for 2 years and have had a great time travelling around Victoria, NSW and Tasmania.

Where ever we go the Nomad always attracts attention because of its effective design and complete camping system whether we are in a caravan park or in a wilderness camping area.

We have done a few 'mods' with the inclusion of a mount for our outboard motor and some baskets above the mud guards for 2 stroke fuel and other bits and pieces. We have recently added a hanging shelf below the kitchen unit that provides additional storage off the ground. This is great if there is a lot of rain and the ground gets wet.

The addition of the thermal/solar roof cover and the improved draught strip below the slide out kitchen area has really improved the liveability and comfort of the Nomad.

Now we have our boat (Porta-bote) on the car roof and our fishing rods fixed to the trailer below the top unit we are ready for some high country river and lake fishing in the New Year.

Congratulations on your recent CCIA Excellence award. We can see your efforts and enthusiasm each time we take our trailer out, well done and keep up the good work.

Regards ,

Daryl & Karen Balla

Hi Grant and Jodie,

All is great and going well. Have had lots of people interested in the camper, and we have been showing it off a lot.

Also have been telling people about your great after sale service, and have been giving out your web site address.

We really appreciate all you have done for us so we can keep on enjoying our camper and trip. Thanks again. Hope the photos show up how rugged the cape is and how well the trailer performed.

We just love our camper.

We are at Longreach and are heading south to South Australia, over the next couple of months.

Take care,

Daryl and Karen Balla - From somewhere around Australia
